My little laptop, and the tiny 52" screen I use it with....

(And WTH my iPad takes such "fuzzy" pictures is beyond me.  Does the lens just need cleaning?  Is it a filter? I dunno!  I'm not usually a camera guy, so that's probably my first camera shot all year with it.  I don't use it enough to worry about sorting out what's up with that crappy resolution.)

EDIT:  Cleaning the lens cleared up a crapload of the fuzz...  Now the image is almost decent.  :)

Hey Steve, I don't get it. Is that picture upside down, or do you live in Australia? (I thought you were in southern Virginia.)

Pete, I too laughed out loud.

Me either.  Clicking on it, it shows right side up for me, but the preview image is rotated 180 degrees...

Guess my wife is right:  She always says I've been "bass ackwards all my life".  I guess this just proves her right.  LOL!

I toldja I'm no photographer with this stupid iPad.  :P

Bert22306,

What do you mean 'upside down'? I live in Australia and it looks fine to me...

Steve,

Can I assume that the pink and white plush toy is yours too?

It's the wife's.  Originally, it came with flowers, chocolates, and a card, as a Valentine's Day gift to her.  The flowers wilted, the chocolates were ate, and the card was misplaced, but she's held onto the plush toy as a memento for the last 25 years, or so, now.  ;)

Cool.  "25 years, or so, now ;)" is quite an achievement in this day and age. Congrats!

Telling people you have been together for 25 years is for rookies. I've been with the same woman for 38 years... and my wife still hasn't found out about it!

What goes on between you and your wife under your belt should not be discussed on a public forum!

You can send me a PM about, later.

Congrats, rookie!

I coughed up some (a lot) of money to buy a new laptop for Game-Development (Unity, Python and QB64).
So here it is:

Oh and also I did some nice colour modifications to the IDE :)
Zeppelin
+[--->++<]>+.+++[->++++<]>.[--->+<]>+.-[---->+<]>++.+[->+++<]>+.+++++++++++.----------.[--->+<]>----.+[---->+<]>+++.---[->++++<]>.------------.+.++++++++++.+[---->+<]>+++.+[->+++<]>++.[--->+<]>+.[->+++<]>+.++++++++++.+.>++++++++++.

TempodiBasic sorry for the late reply.
Here is the colour scheme I use. Its in a weird format as screenshot wasn't cooperating.

Zeppelin
+[--->++<]>+.+++[->++++<]>.[--->+<]>+.-[---->+<]>++.+[->+++<]>+.+++++++++++.----------.[--->+<]>----.+[---->+<]>+++.---[->++++<]>.------------.+.++++++++++.+[---->+<]>+++.+[->+++<]>++.[--->+<]>+.[->+++<]>+.++++++++++.+.>++++++++++.

Just open internal/config.txt and copy the Scheme$ line (or even the whole color scheme section) so you can share it here.

@Zeppelin

Thanks Zeppelin
I find useful your way to post settings, so I have learned that I can create/add new sets of colors to the QB64IDE. First I thought that the number of color settings was limited so I should have to change someone of those preinstalled in the QB64IDE.

@Fellippe
Here is the Scheme$ line got using Zeppelin's set of colors
Code: QB64: [Select]
  1. Scheme1$ = "Dark|255255255216000235000245000050255000085255085255255000000000000000108177000147177"

Thanks to share another trick of QB64IDE.
PS How much do you think difficult  to eat spaghetti code of QB64IDE? (1-10 VisualAnalogicScale)

Code: QB64: [Select]
  1. Scheme2$ = "DarkSun|255255255255045020000245000255140000020255085120255000000000000150130000245147177"

And here's an image of the old QB64 magic at work...

Does anyone else tend to do their serious programming like this, with half a dozen instances of the IDE open to various SUBS/FUNCTIONS or segments of code, for ease of quick self-reference?
