These forums are trying to self-destruct

Am I the only person who has been seeing these type of glitches and error messages with the forums lately?  I’m getting them both on my iPad with Safari as the browser, and on Win 11, with Chrome.

Is this just on my end, or is it something others are seeing as well?

I haven't seen a bad gateway error here before. What I have experienced over the past couple of weeks is getting blank pages. That was associated with some page auto-updating scripts, but this, this looks to be more of a server connection issue, probably due to unusually high traffic, because I cool-aberated with TheBOB on our Halloween contest entry. That means it is likely we have the millions of viewers from The QBasic Forum visiting.

Everything's working smooth here too (Firefox 90.0.2 on Windows 7), but I'm still using the original SMF light theme.
My Projects:   https://qb64forum.alephc.xyz/index.php?topic=809
GuiTools - A graphic UI framework (can do multiple UI forms/windows in one program)
Libraries - ImageProcess, StringBuffers (virt. files), MD5/SHA2-Hash, LZW etc.
Bonus - Blankers, QB64/Notepad++ setup pack

I hadn't thought of that.  It may be a Dark Theme issue.  I'll swap over for a few days and see if it affects anything.

HI @SMcNeill I use a dark theme and don't have any problems with the forum. (W7 64/Chrome)

I have had problems while posting around noon (Ohio time zone), as I remember now, 2-3 times the forum goes down just as I try and post.

I will try to get screen shot if happens again.

Is there any chance Discord connections might overload server?

I didn't know Ohio had it's own time-zone! So in Iowa it is a different time zone?

Man, that would be hell to code for!

Haven't noticed anything lately. But you know me, use Vista and Firefox ESR 52.0.9  so tried and true.

Have noted issues with other stuff under Windows 10 using Chrome crashing and kicking out of sites and bogging down.
The kids online school required these for some testing,so installed it on one machine. Was absolute hell to get though their testing because of those issues. Instead of finishing their testing in a few hours it took 3 days.

Take that for what you will.

posting this just after noon in my bizarre Ohio time zone. 😂
Granted after becoming radioactive I only have a half-life!

Yeah I get confused by the names Eastern just dont seem right for Ohio, that's New York and Maine and Florida.
I think of Ohio as mid-everything, the heart of the nation, do I sound like an Ohioan?

https://www.time.gov

Dang yeah! Iowa is 2 zones away from Ohio's zone.

Maybe that's what is causing the glitch, can't figure the time zone for Ohio. :)
