Thanks TempodiBasic.
Whew for a second I thought we lost the code part of this thread.
I think the Ascii version of fireworks can still be improved...
I actually like the first one better, but the gravity effects in the second one are pretty cool, too. I thought about a similar dispersion pattern for mine, but it's been too many years out of college math for me to recall how it's done. I wish we had personal computers back then, where the math could have had practical and visible applications. I might have even retained some of that knowledge as I'm pretty practical. Well, not as practical as my Dad. I mean I thought algebra was practical, but when I asked him if a customer came in with just $10 to spend, and he needed twice as much roast beef as ham, ham at 1.98 a pound and roast beef at 3.39 a pound, but he also needed a third of the combined meat total as cheese, at 1.29 a pound, and that customer then asked you, "What's the maximum amount of roast beef, ham, and cheese I can buy? Well, what would you tell him? My Dad didn't even hesitate a second. He dropped what he was doing, turned to me and said, "I'd tell him to get the hell out of my store!" Now there's some real Italian fireworks, for ya!
