I tried conjuring up Terry Richie, but I must have got my wires crossed. Oh well. It's a win either way.

I'd like the _KEYHIT thing fixed, too... but it should cost 5-cents. Sorry, I'm a bit like Lucy, that way.

$5.00? What the hell are you complaining about? It's $7.50 out in my neck of the non-woods. Lucky for me, living in California, I drive a Hummer, but it identifies as a Prius.

I won't argue the other side of the pay for play QB64 idea, as that would be Mutiny on the Bounty, and there's the whole copyright issue going on there, so... What I will say is this wouldn't be necessary, if Trump were still in the White House. So where can we download the "I did that!" sticker, of Joe Biden, to put on your post?

Oh, and get an electric tractor! If you're out plowing in the rain, just make sure it has good shock absorbers.

@Jaze It's always worth checking the QB64 Wiki Pages https://wiki.qb64.org/, and in this case there is a Wiki page on Variable Types https://wiki.qb64.org/wiki/Variable_Types

Yes, that page is a keeper. I use it fairly frequently. I miss the days my mind worked like a computer, and I didn't need a cheat sheet. On the bright side, I don't miss typing on my eyeballs to get that information. Bill, I wrote eyeballs, Bill. Leave it alone!

Yeah, PeteWho. I mean THAT Pete should have checked the date on the starting post. I guess some Librarian has been borrowing my post shuttle routine again. Good thing like me, it runs on gas, and is apparently getting more miles to the Galleon, these days. I'll be more careful in coming posts, that's for sure, but yes, ever the optimist, I wish Terry was back, too!

Hey Steve, don't make me go Will Smith on you! I'd have my wife handle it, but she was out late last night. Ouch, what's this hay doing in the bed? :D

I did my part by keeping The QBasic Forum open. I managed to drive 7 new users to QB64. I got paid a whopping 90-cents in Tapatalk points, too. Whatever good that does. Maybe I can buy a Smiley! :D

@SMcNeill

"i = Int(i * 10 + .5) / 10"

That's what I used some 35 years ago to handle accounting in my Quick Basic office software. Never any errors as far as my applications were concerned for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Great minds think a like, and you and I come up with the same ideas, once in awhile, too! (Left myself wide open on that one.)

The need for "String Math" strikes again. Bruhahahahaha!

Of course if any of you guys code anything not in SCREEN 0, you'll hear from my lawyer, Bobastic Baskin, Esq.

As another alternative, this might be achievable with a Windows API approach. Has @SpriggsySpriggs been around as of late?

I haven't seen command switches capable of doing what you are asking. Switches like /select can be used in a SHELL statement to make Explorer highlight a file, for example. I suppose if those right-click to change also had a short-cut key, you could use QB64 _SENDKEY statements, with delays, to automate the process. My last resort would be to use _SCREENCLICK, because it would require the pane always open in the same desktop position and same size, so the mapping you made would always click on the appropriate pane header.

I'd like to help but I'm pretty tied up trying to keep 3 at The QBasic Forum!

I'd recommend DO: SLEEP: LOOP, but I'd never hear the END of it.

And be sure to...

$INCLUDE Steve

...in your next program. I know this forum wouldn't FUNCTION very well without him.
