Vertical Progress Bar
« on: May 11, 2020, 07:09:42 am »
Any chance of having a vertical progress bar?  I had thought that there might be an option with the existing control to have it vertical, or have I missed something obvious?

OK.  Subsidiary question: can the colour of the bar be changed (from green)?  I think that that colour is neither Foreground not Background colour?

Not for now either. That's actually a bitmap.

All suggestions noted!

Thanks for noting, but my requirement is very specialised: file under "Minor Interest: Do Not Action".

@Qwerkey, shouldn't be hard to sim a vertical progress with a picture box AND in any color or multi colors!

Oh say, do it with images, how about a monster approaching getting bigger and bigger! ;-))

Yep, as there is no extant Vertical Progress Bar of settable colour, I can do, and am now doing, it with images.  Within InForm, doing it with a Progress Bar would have been more challenging - I am making a liquid column thermometer.

Have you tried adding Viagra to your program?

As indicated, vertical columns done by image creation, which is a cinch.  Why Fellippe has not had the foresight to produce a vertical Progress Bar of settable colour in case some idiot required it is frankly perplexing!  It would have been the challenge to have mixed Picture Box & Progress Bar to produce variable temperature on the thermometers: and so that idiot has resorted to images (given here but not yet completed).  Meanwhile, Pete had better keep up his Viagra dosage.
