Interesting you mentioned QBasic instead of QB64. Well...

The Revolutionary Guide to QBasic

You can search for some other sources online, and probably find some more examples. That said, please realize you'd only be learning QBasic statements, and a lot has improved since then with the increased memory and expanded keywords found in QB64, especially if you intend to do graphics programming. If so, you really should learn how it's done in QB64 before learning how it was done in QBasic. For non-graphic apps, a QBasic education would suffice for using QB64 most of the time, except that QB64 offers OPEN files for BINARY input, which is just a one-line difference but makes a world of difference in reading large files. Good luck, and the we have our best people here to help if you need it. They even get let on on Tuesday mornings, for 10 minutes of yard time, after meds.
