Hi folks, My name is Russ |Campbell, I have a gem for you guys , it is the complete source code and programs, data files , etc. for a program that I wrote from the years 1990 to 2009 , I managed to find the zip file that I made in 2010 , called Lotto 649 Package 2009 complete with data up until I think Feb 2010, I have attached a zip file below:

I am going to convert it to qb64 tonight I will post my results in the same folder that I have linked to , hope you all enjoy it and  have good luck converting the basic program to your own lottery system , I do have a nice wheeling system , it would take a lot of work to convert it to anything but a 49 number system, Russ Campbell

Well the good news is you don't have to change a thing. Just open it in the QB64 IDE, and RUN (Ctrl + F5). It will make a stand alone exe and run your program. I tried it, and it works as is. Just remember to put all the .dat files in the same folder. Oh, the bad news, Justin Trudeau! Oh well. Welcome to the forum and if I get rich off your number picker, I'll cut you in for half.

Speak of the devil and then he appears.

This is ARB. I know those space-comma-space patterns from anywhere.

Edit: Just joking... but I do keep staring at them...

You're not done when it works, you're done when it's right.

Here is the official QB64 version, same thing , a bit updated and released into the public domain, the serial number part can be used by anyone I had to change a few things to allow running the chain files , the lotto.bas and grmode.bas and the setreg.bas programs were all saved in binary qb45 mode. I may update all of the winning numbers in the next few days ................ Russ

New version as of November 22 2018 at 1:33 PM, winning numbers have been fully updated, most features are now working except for the bar-graphs in ASCII , VGA and HDMI modes, same link, just a new file , be sure to download the newest version, and if you win big send me a postcard from the Caribbean Islands eh?  I will post full docs but they are built into my program.... all menu driven if anyone wants to know, and the new source code has been release into the public domain. Lotto 649 Package 2019 is almost ready , everything but the bargraphs both asci and color work OK now, I will be working this afternoon on a Canadian Daily Keno and Lotto max version of my program. A menu will allow you to run any or the 3 programs , with updated data for all 3 , it will probablly take me a week to finish all 3 , when done I will release ececutables and source code for all 3 programs. If anyone eles wants to include their lotteries in this program, send me the details , ie: how many numbers drawn, total amount of numbers drawn from, and whether or not there is a bonus number. Since I understand what I have written, me doing it would probably be the easiest, as always everything will be totally free, my time , etc, my computer tiime as well.

I am good, just completed my Lotto 649 Package RC4 , a few hours ago, too many features to mention, but the biggest is automatic draw date updating , it is good for 40 years, I have put in the code that will make sure that the proper day and date is displayed for the next draw, the program is up to date as of December 28 2019, as far as I know everything works as designed.

This program will tell you everything you wanted to know about the Canadian Lotto 649 Lottery, I have 20 years of draw data, I think you need a few gigs to run it, if not just delete some of the draw data from years 2000 to 2010, (its in the numbers2.dat file).

Happy New Year to everyone here on QB64.ORG, the registration on the program is set for QB64.ORG, a little shot in the arm for QB64.ORG , that comes right up on the main title page. I will include m program that puts it there in the first place later on.

Hope you all like my program, it will show you just what you can do with a basic program, over 30 years went into the making of this program, from 1990 when I started it in QB45, till now, off and on I have been updating it.

Russ
