Recently found a bug in the project that I was working on last summer. So finally working myself up the motivation to do a bug hunt, I run the program.
Just prior to that I installed Malwarebytes, because I had suspicions that I had a malware issue. It found a few things and quarantined them. That's cool, only when I ran my project, Malwarebytes sent its torches and pitchforks to intercept, stop and quarantine the .exe.
Grrrr..... so I go and bail my child out of jail.
I white space the folder containing the project, which stops the quarantine, but now it won't run without a host of runtime errors.
After deleting MB everything is back to normal. Apparently, I can't have nice things. ;)
I presently host the zipped project at
www.plainviewfarms.com/software which was the simplest way to distribute to friends and family who are beta testing. Trying to send via gmail and facebook had their own antivirus issues.
