Lotto Max 2020 Lottery Simulator (WIP)
« on: January 07, 2020, 06:51:11 am »
Hi:

I have turned my Lotto Max program into a game, the idea is that you start off with $40,000 and the idea is to win the $70 Million in any draw. You can play the game when I have finished it as real time, or as a fast game.I have all of the spending tracked and logged as you buy tickets at market value of $5.00 per 3 tickets. Also each ticket purchased is saved to disk sequentially.

The reason I call my program Lotto Max 2020 Simulator is that its all about the game, and I am basing the simulator on the popular Lotto Max Lottery, that is mainly why I called it Lotto Max 2020 Simulator. I will be writing up full instructions for this simulator when I have finished it.

Here is where I make a disclaimer that you are not playing for real money, but funny money. No cash is intended to be awarded for winning a draw, simply because you have not bought the tickets for real and for real cash.

The way I am planning on setting the simulator is that you can buy as many tickets as you wish, as long as you don't go broke, remember $40000 of funny money does not last long.

The payouts of funny money are as follows:

7 numbers correct --------------------- $70,000,000.00
6 numbers + bonus correct------------ $10,000,000.00
5 numbers correct .......................... $500,000.00
4 numbers correct .......................... $10,000.00
3 numbers correct .......................... $100.00

Note that these payouts are better than the real thing.

Again this is not real money so don't come crying to me, where is my money? There is none spent and none gained. Its a learning tool.

PPS: To set everything up properly, run the setup.exe program from a folder, it sets everything up for you.
PS: To start the program off, run the lotto.exe program from a folder, it runs the main program.

Note that the winning numbers database is fully up to date.

According to my Frequency Calculator the next numbers that are due are:

Number   5  is a good bet as it was due by : 12 22 2019
Number  16  is a good bet as it was due by : 12 15 2019
Number  21  is a good bet as it was due by : 11 18 2019
Number  25  is a good bet as it was due by : 12 22 2019
Number  41  is a good bet as it was due by : 11  1 2019
Number  46  is a good bet as it was due by : 12  8 2019
Number  49  is a good bet as it was due by : 12 15 2019

These numbers cannot stay random if they continue to not come up,
but the big question is when?

Oh to check all of your saved lists of Lootto Max numbers go to the main menu, use option B then Option C and choose the
simulator file, read in your draw date from the database with the R command and choose Month 1 , day 7 and year 2020
the program should find that draw and display all of your winning numbers from the simulator file. It will give you the option
of reading any file, and writing it ,  it no longer defaults to the simulator file called lottomax2020.dat file I have fixed that. Oh ya
99.9 percent of the bugs are gone.

In a nutshell

Main Menu

Option A takes you to the Winning Numbers Update Screen
Option B gives you the Search and Print Menu
Option C gives you a 14 to 42 wheeling menu
Option D gives you random numbers
Option E tells you about the program
Option F gives you a Bar Graph Menu
Option G gives you Special Date Bar Graphs
Option H gives you the Number Frequency Calculator

Sub Menu  B Search and Print Menu

Option A prints out the entire list of winning numbers
Option B prints out a list of winning numbers
Option C checks a list of numbers for winning numbers by date of draw
Option D Scans Database of winning numbers, you can enter any series of numbers here.
Option E Prints out Frequency Calculator saved lists

Sub Menu B from the above Sub Option B

Option A Prints out entire list of winning numbers
Option B Prints out a partial list of winning numbers, user selectible
Option C goes to Search and Print Menu

Escape or enter at any level brings you back one level
Escape at main menu takes you out of the program.

As for selecting tickets, the program keeps track of how much you have spent and won.

Options F and G from the main menu need more work, everything else works perfectly except for Option C in the Search and Print Menu
The winning numbers search function does not yet add up winners in you files, that is coming.
