I've just integrated the Combo generator into the Gin Hand Optimizer and dumped the need both for outside Combination Tables and even an array to hold all combinations, if you or anyone wants a sneak peak. It's now only a half dozen lines of code but oh! how important!
I have a long ways to go for Computer's AI to play a regular Gin Rummy game with any hope of providing some competitive play. I am thinking of starting by tracking discards, either that or figure out some kind of point system for pairs or 2 card sequence starters both these are going to be necessary. The optimizer is limited to scoring hand, no good with card potentials.
Browns getting a thumping from Steelers so far! :p
