Over thirty years ago I invented two player spades so I'd have something to play with my Mom. I'd give it a try but I have too many irons in the fire right now.
1. Shuffled deck is placed face down in the middle
2. Players take turns drawing two cards face down
3. Players choose to look at one card
4. If the looked at card is a spade it must be kept, the other discarded without looking
5. If the looked at card is discarded the second card is kept
6. When each player has 13 cards the game is played just like regular spades
It is a fun game that takes quite a bit of skill! If anyone wants to tackle this then please do!
