Damn time that goes away!
I have installed QB64x32 1.2 !  :-(((

I still remember the headache for installing QB64 on Lubunt 16.1!
I solved with Fifi tool of installer!
Now I try to download Qb64 1.3 from into linux 16.1 and install it. I close this access to forum.

this time
1. downloading the .tar for linux in Virtualbox and
2. running the installer that is in the QB64 folder (1,2) after extracting it by Software managment of Lubunt
after a while of time it works!
Yes QB64 1.3 appears on the screen of lubuntu!

WOW tonight it is ok for QB64!

about your questions

on running
1. there is a problem with a font

 

but going on
2. the interface appears to be too large for screen!
3. the window of program doesn't draw adjourning itself while I drag it on the lubuntu's screen

 

4. each time that I click on a button I get 3 times the error of wrong handle of Font because I trig the draw adjourment of the window of the program
5. you dialog box works fine both as aspect both with dragging it in the main window of the program

 

now you must wait for direct user of Linux, not in Virtualbox.

Sorry, to put you so much trouble. Yeah, the font Steve used is probably from Windows. The screen width was pretty high 1240? (for a laptop). It is interesting the the screen _TITLE is centered in your OS.
