QB64 Discussion / Installing 64 Bit QB64
« on: October 25, 2020, 05:47:46 pm »
I have been using the 32 bit version of QB64 for a number of years, as I till have about 15 computers running 32 bit. I have many machines now running 64 bit, so I have downloaded the 64 bit version.
The IDE works fine, and I can compile the code, but the resulting .exe immediately generates a critical error "cannot find dynamic library file"
I did not find any new dlls in the zip file, and I am running in the same directory that I am using for the 32 bit version, with all the same dll files.
The machine on which I am compiling and attempting to execute is running Windows 7 64bit.
Is there something else I have to install for 64 bit executables?
