Spring Cleaning

I know. I know. Here in Oz it's Summer but when my wife wants to "Spring Clean"... We Spring Clean... lol

Anyway. Long story short... Buried in our spare room, that we use for storage, I cam across and old Acer AspireOne netbook... The machine must be at least 10 years old. The old, badly worn Windows Product sticker, is dated 2005. It is grossly under-powered (1.6ghz) with 1G ram with a 160gb drive (ssd?). The last time I used it was to run Lubuntu 14.04!!

Before I proceed... would anyone care to guess as to my chances of getting QB64 to run on this old clunker?

Problem solved... The old clunker is 32 bit... Oh well. Worth a shot...

Pretty sure there is a 32 bit version of QB64 you can download.

I'm still running my Aspire 1 Netbook (geez, it's slow, but OK for occasional use away from computer room if necessary).

I still use a (very) old Asus notebook running Win 7 and the 32bit version of QB64. It's great when I'm working away for short periods. I just chuck it in my overnight bag. Ok, it's not going to win any awards for high speed but it does the job.

This thread has become moot as my Acer AspieOne, which has been in storage for too long, has suffered HDD failure due recent activity... RIP Acer... *sigh*
