That is from the original.

I've managed to recreate almost the entire look but the internals I have not made much progress on. thats why I'm studying your code here to figure out how to integrate what I need to make things work.

haven't gotten around to sort the hand yet either.

I've just integrated the Combo generator into the Gin Hand Optimizer and dumped the need both for outside Combination Tables and even an array to hold all combinations, if you or anyone wants a sneak peak. It's now only a half dozen lines of code but oh! how important!

I have a long ways to go for Computer's AI to play a regular Gin Rummy game with any hope of providing some competitive play. I am thinking of starting by tracking discards, either that or figure out some kind of point system for pairs or 2 card sequence starters both these are going to be necessary. The optimizer is limited to scoring hand, no good with card potentials.

Browns getting a thumping from Steelers so far!  :p

OK have a Regular Gin Rummy Variation roughed out. It is surprising me how well it does with minimal AI!
