Oh dear. I enjoyed the original version... Now there is no challenge to look forward to when trying to guess the correct time... But I do so like Roman Numerals... Eventually, if modifications continue, press a specific key and the computer will "tell" you the time... I miss the guessing *sigh*

QB64 Discussion / Re: What's your philosophy about constants?
« on: March 25, 2022, 03:14:28 pm »
"My philosophy about constants"? I have none. Constants are just that. Constant. They offer a globally accepted fixed value. This is not a quantum mechanic's problem like Shrodinger's cat, constants are 100% fixed. There is no room for philosophy... Well... that was fun for 6am. Next question?

QB64 Discussion / Re: QB64 10-Liner programs or games
« on: March 21, 2022, 04:03:55 am »
Cool... "10 Liners"...  Back in the mid 80's I ran an Amstrad CPC464... 4mhz cpu with only 64K of ram...  Learning to program efficiently was the thing back then. In the magazines that I purchased were "10 liners". It was amazing, back then, that so much could be done with so little coding. Mind you, the CPC, was capable of having long lines of code... But still... amazing...

Programs / Re: Happy _PI Day!
« on: March 14, 2022, 02:29:06 pm »
Fun fact: The 14th of March (in your case - Pi-day) was once referred to as "The Ides of March". Ides simply referred to the first new moon of a given month, which usually fell between the 13th and 15th. In fact, the Ides of March once signified the new year, which meant celebrations and rejoicing.

Cool newspaper. What a wonderful idea... lol  Very cool indeed... Unfortunately, due to my lack of game playing skills, I was unable to defeat the spider with the newspaper... You can probably guess what happened next... *sigh* (Yes. The setting was set to "easy"...)

I like it!

I remember watching these display on my old Amstrad cpc464, back in the mid 80's, as the 4mhz cpu struggled to plot them on the screen... Ah the memories... Thank you!

Cool game! Took a little while to get the hang of navigating with the mouse. Really fast when turning... Added to the difficulty...  Really impressed. No loading of sprites... and everything done in about 300 lines of code. Very nicely done!

@MasterGy "What's that?"

I am obviously in error for not stating my point more clearly. My apologies.
