The dropbox link shows error 404,
The correct link should be: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2usq1msz7gnhknp/qb64%20x64%20%2810-17-2018%29.7z?dl=1
I'm installing the 64-bit version tonight.
Happy New Year,
Pete

Ah, another update since I checked it last. I checked it at your site, and the error 404 page went bye-bye. Link works fine now.

I updated it there, and here too.
Good news is this latest X64 version now comes packaged with the latest 8.1.0 c-compiler., instead of the old version from 2012 which was always packaged with in the past. ;)

You can break down the Dropbox link and easily compare versions, since I date them.
%20 is a space
%28 is (
%29 is )
So the end result gives the dates for comparison: (12-22-2018) for the original, and (10-17-2018) for yours.
You were posting an even older copy than the one with the broken link. ;)

Silly question... Is this version Windows only? Just curious...

Windows only. Linux uses whatever compiler your system uses; QB64 doesn’t ship with ANY compiler with Linux.

See... I told you it was a silly question... lol Thanks for clearing that up...

Well, life's a journey. It's like what the mushroom said to the broccoli at the produce counter... "You wouldn't believe the ^&*# I had to go through to get here!"

Well, I'm impressed! Installed the 64-bit QB64 in my OptiPlex Core i7 desktop, and as the current US President would say, the improvement was "yuuuge"!
The [banned user] tests went from 10.2-10.3 seconds with the 32-bit version, to 0.27-0.33 seconds now. They all flashed by in no time.
A number crunching test I wrote (it generates prime numbers, beginning with 3, and for this purpose I limited to 100,000), went from 1.6 seconds or so to 1.05 sec.
Steve's previous speed test, which I think had more to do with memory speed(?), the one with the graphics anyway, was unchanged.
Very cool. For my work PC, I'll have to wait until qb64x64 becomes available at the qb64.org site. It blocks dropbox. Nice Christmas present, though. Thanks, Steve!
