Hi how can i piss off the IDE autosave, it crashes when asks if i want to recover program. then when i return i have lost half my work. it goes back to autosaved.. this is third time crashed today.

Check your settings. Make certain the AutoSave file is large enough to back up your work. The issue you're having is one I run into sometimes myself; which is one reason why I created a mod for QB64 to do time stamped backups for us here: https://www.qb64.org/forum/index.php?topic=605.0

This is the screen crash... All jamed and locked before saving... I have set the file backup to 20000.. but i have nothing that big
update: I decided to use my other copy on my harddisk (qb64) that has another project in the folder.. for some unknow reason i am now not having the issue. / the other copy jammed up.

The other version bombs out too, seems to slow down to a stop. but if you wait forever it comes back on click at a time to save.

crashing problem sorted *** not qb64 at fault.. my hard disk has filled to the top with who knows and ran out of space (only installed recently as hard disk failed/crashed and motor would not spin up)
new drive but filled up to end.. (thinking virus)
anyway running version 17 linux mint in kde and no more problem with the ide.... (Buying a new pc) wanting something for myself..New pc, reinstall of linux and I can get back to work.
