Title: Why is my QB64 doing this everytime I open a file now?
Post by: Cobalt on June 17, 2021, 11:07:23 am
So every time I try to open up a file in QB 1.5 now I get the nice little "no disk in drive" error popping up.
None of my recent files came from that drive(cdrom drive btw).
I was testing out the new feature that only shows drives with files in them(cds, SD cards, ect), but never opened anything off the disk.

Besides the obvious does anyone have any ideas why this might be? Anybody else see this yet?

Never seen this behavior before. Try cleaning recents anyway.

I see some solutions online say to give that drive a new letter and see if it fixes the problem.

Clearing the recent list seem to do it, we will see if it comes back if I have to start cycling disks or burn some backups.

Don't you just love it when I'm working on a project, keep finding weird little quirks...

the loss of my laptop has slowed down Phantasy Stars development, fortunately I didn't loose any work. It however appears I may not get back to Discord ever, could no longer acquire the necessary updates to get windows 7 reinstalled, and windows 10 doesn't work, least it refuses to allow me to install any drivers.
