Title: Easter Egg in program
Post by: TempodiBasic on June 10, 2020, 04:53:22 am
Hi guys
I have found the list of coders that wrote the Qbasic!

Now we have whom to ask for difficult backcompatibility!

how to get them
Quote
1. Start up QBasic by entering 'qbasic' at command prompt.
2. Immediately hold down Left Ctrl, Left Alt, Left Shift AND Right Ctrl, Right Alt, Right Shift TOGETHER.
3. Wait for a few seconds.

who are they?

do you think that we can ask them an opinion about QB64?

Happy Coding

PS What is the Easter Egg of QB64?

Maybe hide this in the code.  It's big.  It hatches Mounties.

My version of Qbasic (1.0) doesn't show anything if those keys are pressed
before or after the "Welcome to" screen.

I recall seeing the Qbasic easter egg before years ago, but forgot what it did.

I don't know if the QB64 IDE has any easter eggs, but  I threw in some in my QB64 IDE.  If you type in the word joke, highlight it, then press F1 (help search), it will show a random joke.  Do the same thing with the word dav and it will show my picture, and the two words easter egg highlighted and pressing F1 will actually show an easter egg.  There are a number of easter eggs, even a hidden puzzle game, but I don't think anyone has found and played it yet.
