I got this line of code for a bug in my code while I'm building a pattern DATA set saved in a file Datamask.BI

When I load this file into QB64IDE I got OK at place of error!
From wiki it seems that DATA has no property to be nested in the same line of code!

You're not nesting DATA; you're using DATA as part of your data...

Now, since quotations aren't required with the DATA statement, the above is going to count Data as user data and not a command. The same is happening with your code: DATA 00001011 is simply being read as an user string of data consisting of "DATA 00001011"...

Oh yes I can understand that has happened!
So all those coming after DATA is only data to be read!
:-) great how I can loose myself in some syntax clue!

Tempo, what were you doing???? Even I would not have tried to put the word DATA on a DATA line! I shall feel smug for the rest of the day.

I must do more practice with autocompilation of files to use in code!
I'll search some books for compiler and interpreter building!
