                            DOC CREDITS
                            ===========
.
Most recently, a certain Doc Henley mentored me with some
offhand remarks, and they bore fruit. Among these pearls, I
remember getting to see some of Doc's "internet code" for our
website. Almost all "offsets". Offsets on top of offsets.
LAYERS of offsets, all summated after every X and every Y.
.
I didn't even realize at first, when i started using this in
my video games I was cutting my teeth on. I was starting to
offset the hell out of my (x,y)'s
.
Before that, when I was composing classical music? Doc suggested
why didn't I get back into programming? He even showed me QB64.
.
It was DOC that nudged me constantly, to first dual-boot a
favorite linux, then, to drop winders altogether, and only
run a couple things I need in VM ware.
.
Without DOC HENLEY? I'm not sure this project ever happens.
It came out in "programmers conversation" that I think fast,
I code fast, I feel there's an *energy* to the whole process.
 Doc said:
"no no, I think S-L-O-W. You're a fast thinker, and
you're pretty accurate at that speed. I'm a SLOW, DEEP
      thinker. You should try it."
.
"You think fast, you code fast... you also think on your
feet and adapt and fix things fast as well. Because you
have to. I don't have to. I anticipated and planned on
it a couple weeks beore I started."
.
I tried it, it works. Thanks DOC!
.
I honestly as a test, just *stopped* and "took stock of the
situation". Tried to force a "slow, deep, think". This started to
bear fruit; I started to anticipate things before I got there.
.
Now I am just sure DOC is slow-er and deep-er than me;
yet, occasionally slowing down, smelling roses, looking...
works and works very well. Any "lost time" thinking up front
or in a middle break? Is more than made up for by my overall
speed and the occasional pothole I avoided.
.
There's no way I can pull off a project as big as this one,
and act as if it were all me; various people played large and
small parts, even if those people did not always know.
