                        CROSS_PLATFORM
                        ==============
.
I originally thought I was going to make a cross-platform
 solution. After a while developing on LinuxMint, I copied
 over the whole CodeName:Takky folder to 64 bit windows.
.
I had to rename some file-names on the MANUAL sections to
 please windows. (my fault, Linux allows question marks and
 semicolons and lord knows what else)
.
I got it to compile. I got it to 'run'. Sort of.
 It runs "wonky" and its mainly erratic extra mouse clicks.
 The whole SYSTEM, compiles and runs. Just a little slow.
 But... the erratic, drunken mouse-clicking? *no way*
.
I am no stranger to this situation. I originally had QB1.3 running
 on windows XP in VM ware. It didn't run on Mint at first;
 then i got 1.3 and 1.5 (upgrade) running on Mint. The same
 video game ran perfect on windoze xp, and ran like the mouse
 was drunk on Linux Mint. I made the next couple games on
 Linux, and when i went back to windows, some were okay, some
 were erratic in the mouse.
.
maybe one day someone can explain the *subtle* differences
 in the QB64 mouse routines between winders and linux.
.
since I have to *choose* which platform to aggressively
 develop and run on, at least for now? *LINUX MINT*
.
